Our Mission
Hayco Construction knows a thing or two about grit, integrity, and hard work. What began as one person and a truck has grown into a multistate firm with two offices and more than two dozen employees. Providing Fortune 500 and locally owned businesses alike with complex building solutions, the general contractor has experience across multiple industries, specializing in the healthcare, industrial, and retail spaces. The family-first company has built its foundation on relationships to offer individualized construction services across four states. Travis Hayes
Travis Hayes is the President and Founder of Hayco Construction. With over 15 years of leadership in the construction industry, Travis has built Hayco into a trusted name across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee, specializing in commercial projects such as medical offices, pharmacies, light industrial, and retail spaces. Travis graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2008, earning a 4.0 GPA while attending night classes for eight years, working full-time, and raising his two daughters. This rigorous experience instilled a disciplined work ethic and problem-solving mindset, enabling him to launch Hayco during the 2009 economic recession.
Under his leadership, Hayco has grown and been recognized by the Triad Business Journal in the 2018 Fast 50 List and as a top workplace in the Triad region. Travis excels in construction management, pre-construction, value engineering, delivering projects on time and within budget while fostering lasting client relationships with clients. His hands-on approach and commitment to integrity have solidified Hayco’s reputation for excellence in design-build, commercial upfits, and renovations.
Myron Hayes
Myron Hayes is the Vice President of Field Operations, where he oversees the company’s field operations, manages operational scheduling, and directs the safety program. With a focus on efficiency and accountability, Myron ensures that projects run smoothly from start to finish, coordinating teams, maintaining timelines, and upholding Hayco’s commitment to delivering high-quality construction work.
His responsibilities extend across day‑to‑day site operations, where he provides supervision and guidance to field crews, supports project coordination, and enforces safety standards that protect both employees and clients. By managing operational scheduling, Myron helps align project resources with client deadlines.
Through his leadership of Hayco Construction’s safety program, Myron prioritizes a culture of safety on every job site, reducing risk and reinforcing compliance with industry regulations. His work reflects Hayco’s dedication to excellence not just in construction outcomes, but also in the well‑being of its workforce and community.
Jody Galyean
Jody Galyean serves as Vice President and Partner at Hayco Construction, a respected firm known for delivering high-quality commercial projects. With a career in construction spanning since 2005, Jody brings extensive expertise in project management, client relations, and operational leadership. His strategic vision and hands-on approach have been instrumental in driving Hayco’s growth and reputation for excellence in the industry.
Jody has overseen a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to rigorous standards. His commitment to fostering strong team collaboration and innovative solutions has earned him trust among clients and peers alike. A dedicated leader, Jody is passionate about advancing construction practices and mentoring the next generation of industry professionals. Outside of work, Jody enjoys outdoor activities, community involvement, and spending time with family.
Dean Boik
Dean Boik, the Development Director at Hayco Construction—a client-focused design-build firm, leverages his deep development and business expertise to lead commercial and specialized projects across manufacturing, medical, retail, and especially educational markets.
With a solid background in facilities management, he brings an owner’s perspective to every project, delivering functional, future-ready environments. By aligning with each client’s facilities challenges, long-term vision, and short-term needs, Dean applies a proven development process to deliver strategic, high-value solutions.
