The risk assessment class is set with the facility's infection preventionist, containment is built and tested, negative pressure is monitored, and the route for debris and materials is fixed so it never crosses patient circulation.
The practical consequence for the owner is that the containment plan is a deliverable with a name on it rather than a promise made at the kickoff meeting.
